Scott Hewitt serves as the Vice President of Global Network Strategy for UnitedHealthcare Global. In this role, he oversees the design, build and performance management of both the networks and reimbursement models deployed in countries where UnitedHealthcare Global operates. Scott plays a key role in helping to evolve UnitedHealthcare Global’s health care delivery system from fee-for-service to value-based care.  Scott has more than 20 years of health care experience, including 13 years at UnitedHealthcare. Most recently, Scott served as Vice President, Payment Strategy & Innovation, for UnitedHealthcare Networks. Previously, Scott held a number of positions within UnitedHealthcare, where he gained exposure to contract negotiations and strategy, reimbursement methodologies, value-based contracting and operations across all lines of business (Commercial, Medicare and Medicaid). Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame and a master’s degree in public health from the University of Minnesota.
